In class, you will:
- Play energizing improv games
- Learn the core principles of improv such as listening, saying yes, and supporting your scene partners
- Build confidence and communication skills
- Explore spontaneity, being present in the moment, and taking risks
- Learn to trust yourself and fail joyfully
- Stimulate creativity, imagination, self-expression, and the collaborative spirit
- Make real connections and probably some new friends
- Get individual feedback to help you grow
- Receive free admission to a TBD Improv show during your class session
TBD Improv Adult Workshop, ages 18 and up
Whether you’re hoping to boost your confidence, become more spontaneous on your feet, explore your creative side, or just laugh more, this class is a fun and supportive place to start. Through group exercises, games, and scenes, you’ll discover the fundamentals of improvisational theater in a welcoming environment. No experience is needed.
Discover the art of improv in a high-energy, creative, and collaborative class with Sean Roach and Chris Roberts of TBD Improv. It introduces adults to the fundamentals of spontaneous performance, through fast-paced and playful games. Students will sharpen their listening skills, build characters, and create comedy on the spot.
